Our founder, Demittajo, has more than 30 years of Decorating experience.
My passion for design started at an early age. At age six, I started designing and sewing doll clothes. From there I started making pillows and upholstering furniture and chairs. Often times I would rearrange my furniture, paint , and take what others considered junk and refurbish it into fashionable design. In elementary school I took art classes, and entered drawing and design contests. I used my experience in designs and contests to help jump start my professional entrance into the design field. I graduated from San Diego City Community College with an Associate degree in Film and TV.
I worked briefly as a Set Designer and graduated from Platte College with an Associate of Art Graphic Design degree, I also became certified in Home Staging Interior Design, and Set Decorating.
I am currently a member of the Set Decorators Society of America for TV, Film, and Stage I continue to keep myself updated on all aspects of design, from window coverings to upholstery to lighting and space planning. Every year I volunteer to design the Henry Mayo Hospital Toyota golf tournament.
